Available with special discounting to members of the NSBC and Safe Boating organizations these whistles display the "Wear It" logo, recognized nationally as the symbol for Safe Boating and Lifejacket use on our Nations waterways, lakes and oceans.
The only official whistle of NASAR, this whistle is designed for and used by safety professionals in Search & Rescue, Law Enforcement, Army Corps of Engineers, US Coast Guard, National Park Service, US Forest Service, Boating Safety Groups and US Military in Iraq and Afghanistan. .
In our partnership with the National Safe Boating Council we recognized the need for water and boating safety whistles on the lakes, dams, rivers and oceans to help save lives in boating and water accidents. A life jacket is the first tool to surviving in the water, but being able to signal for rescue requires a quality whistle attached to each personal flotation device.
Our Safety Whistle is designed as a safety signalling tool with three internal chambers that fire at the same time when blown . Two, to create separate pealess omnidirectional high shrills of different frequencies. The single center chamber has a pea that makes a loud staccato sound (up to 118-120 Decibels) with a full spectrum of pitches from low to high, breaking through environmental noise and alerting people that help is needed. It can be heard over large crowds, water and other natural and man-made noises.
This whistle is not a toy, but a survival tool. Constructed in the USA of the highest quality ABS plastic it can withstand being driven over by our fully loaded Search & Rescue Suburban SUV. It is the only rescue whistle made that is fully warrantied that if it ever fails or breaks due to workmanship or materials, we will replace it free and pay shipping in both directions. In Search & Rescue we support ANY whistle as part of a life saving kit, but cheaper whistles offer a false sense of security and often break of outright FAIL when it comes to saving your life. When you are in need of rescue you deserve to have the best chance of being found by using the same whistle Search & Rescue teams use.

Official whistle of the National Safe Boating Council and "Wear It!" Campaign
The National Safe Boating Council (NSBC) is proud to announce that Whistles for Life has joined the NSBC organization as the official whistle of their organization. Whistles for Life were designed and tested by Search and Rescue Professionals for the sole purpose of creating a high-quality safety whistle
“The National Safe Boating Council is excited to join forces with Whistles for Life to promote safer boating practices,” remarks Virgil Chambers, Executive Director of the NSBC. “It’s too often that accidents on the water end in tragedy because the right equipment wasn’t onboard. Having a whistle on your boat is a critical part of ensuring yours and your passenger’s safety.”
